Event Server

  • Must be able to work the entire golf season (April to November & Christmas Parties in December)
  • Evenings, Weekends, some Days
  • 20-30 hrs/wk end of May, June and Sept; 4-5 nights/wk (including weekends)
  • 5-15 hrs/wk beginning of May, July, Aug, Oct; 1-2 nights/wk (including weekends)
  • Smart Serve certified (18 years of age and older)

You will provide exceptional service to guests. You must have excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Your responsibilities include: set up, serving guests, and clean up. You must be able to serve in a fast, safe, and efficient manner with the highest levels of quality, cleanliness, and consistency. Previous experience in serving and knowledge of serving etiquette are definite assets. You must be able to carry heavy trays and work under pressure. Junior Event Server (15-17 years of age)

Halfway Café/Lounge Server/Event Server

  • Must be able to work the entire golf season (Late April – November)
  • 30 – 40 hrs/wk
  • Days, Evenings, Weekends
  • Smart Serve Certified
  • Previous serving experience preferred

You will provide exceptional service to guests. You must have excellent communication skills, interpersonal, and customer service skills. You must be able to work in a fast, safe and efficient manner with the highest levels of quality cleanliness and consistency. You will be responsible for tending to all patios and lounge areas as well as the Halfway Café. You may also be required to be an Event Server. You must be able to work all areas if needed. Event Supervisor

  • Must be able to work the entire golf season (April to November & Christmas Parties in December); events are days & evenings Monday-Sunday, June and September are the busiest months
  • Evenings, Weekends, some Days
  • 20-40 hrs/wk from May to October depending on the number of events, primarily afternoons and evenings, Saturday could be from 1pm to 2am
  • Smart Serve certified

You will be responsible for a staff of up to 10 people. You will be responsible for working closely with the Events Manager, as well as the Chef, Bar Manager, Servers and Guests. You will be responsible for setting up and tearing down the banquet room (includes physically moving tables and chairs, putting linens on the table, setting cutlery, dishes, glasses, napkins etc., and setting up the dance floor). You will be in charge of the Event Servers and help to set up, serve meals, and clear. You must be able to carry heavy trays and work under pressure. You will be responsible for ensuring all the details of the event are followed through and for setting up for the following event. You will provide exceptional service to guests and set an example for Event Servers. You must have excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. You must be able to serve in a fast, safe, and efficient manner with the highest levels of quality, cleanliness, and consistency. Previous experience in serving and supervising is required. Cook/Kitchen Help

You will assist the Chefs in daily preparation, cooking, and presentation of the food. Ideally you will have prior experience in the food industry including a la carte and banquets. General kitchen duties may also include some dishwashing and basic food prep for the Chefs, and keeping the kitchen in a clean manner. Hours vary depending on the events. Dishwashers

You are a fundamental component to the success of any good kitchen team. It is your responsibility to ensure that all dishes are washed and put away in a safe and organized manner. You may also need to assist the Chefs in general food prep and cleaning of back of the house areas. You must be able to work fast, safely and efficiently with a high level of cleanliness.
